Bill Stevenson, the former husband of Dr. Jill Biden, has been charged with the murder of his current wife, Linda Stevenson, who was found unresponsive in the couple’s Delaware home in December, authorities said Tuesday.
Stevenson, 77, was taken into custody by the New Castle County cops on Monday after a weeks-long investigation into the death of his wife. The case was presented to a grand jury, which handed down a murder indictment, according to a statement from the police department.
The former first lady’s ex was arraigned on a charge of first-degree murder and sent to the Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $500,000 cash bail, cops said. (Read more: Mediaite, 2/3/2026) (Archive)
