September 22, 2025 - The disturbing ties between the SPLC and Antifa

The organization that put Charlie Kirk’s organization on a “hate map” with chapters of the Ku Klux Klan ahead of his assassination last week also has a long history of carrying water for the violent Antifa movement that President Donald Trump has targeted for investigation.

(…) The Southern Poverty Law Center, a public interest law firm that gained its reputation by suing Ku Klux Klan chapters into bankruptcy and presents itself as America’s premiere “hate” watchdog, has steadfastly refused to put any Antifa organization on its “hate map.” Meanwhile, the SPLC puts mainstream conservative and Christian groups on the map, calling them part of the “infrastructure upholding white supremacy.”

A terrorist used the map to target the conservative Christian Family Research Council in 2012, and the man who opened fire at a Congressional Baseball Game practice in 2017 had “liked” the SPLC on Facebook. The SPLC condemned these attacks.

This summer, the SPLC added Kirk’s Turning Point USA to the “hate map.” It remains unclear whether this may have inspired Robinson, and the SPLC condemned the assassination, but it has not removed Turning Point from the map.

The SPLC has refused to add Antifa, Black Lives Matter, or vandals targeting churches and pro-life pregnancy centers to the “hate map.”

(…) In 2023, however, the SPLC added “antigovernment extremist groups” to the “hate map,” including parental rights organizations such as Moms for Liberty. Antifa remains absent.

In June 2020, the SPLC attacked then-President Trump for announcing his intention to designate Antifa as a terrorist organization. It warned that “those who identify with” the Antifa label “represent a large spectrum of the political left” and that “far-right extremists use similar tactics” to the Trump administration in condemning Antifa.

The SPLC condemned Trump’s move as “unprecedented and alarming” and minimized Antifa violence as “skirmishes and property crimes,” adding that “the threat of lethal violence pales in comparison to that posed by far-right extremists.”

In 2023, authorities arrested an SPLC lawyer, charging him with domestic terrorism for his alleged role in an Antifa riot involving Molotov cocktails. The lawyer is one of 61 defendants, who are represented by many attorneys. That case remains ongoing, and prosecutors expect a ruling from the judge soon.

Megan Squire, whom Wired profiled as “antifa’s secret weapon against far-right extremists” in 2018, reportedly worked closely with the SPLC, feeding the organization data on white nationalist and other groups. She said she does not consider herself antifa but is “sympathetic to antifa’s goal of silencing racist extremists.” She passed along information “to those who might put it to real-world use. Who might weaponize it.”

Squire joined the SPLC full-time in 2022 before leaving the organization in March 2025, according to her verified LinkedIn profile.

September 22, 2025 - Trump EO designates Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization; funders could be subject to prosecution

(…) On September 22, 2025, President Donald J. Trump issued an executive order designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. The order describes Antifa as “Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law. It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals. “

The executive order accuses Antifa of recruiting and radicalizing young Americans, concealing its funding, and coordinating with other groups to promote political violence and suppress lawful speech. The designation directs federal agencies to use all available authority to investigate, disrupt, and dismantle Antifa’s operations, including prosecuting those who support or fund its activities.

The Open Society Foundation has publicly stated, “George Soros does not fund Antifa. But he is opposed to fascism. We do fund groups working for racial justice in the United States.” Despite this claim, reports from the Capital Research Center allege that Soros’s foundation has poured more than $80 million into organizations tied to extremism and “direct actions” the FBI classifies as domestic terrorism.

Several groups and networks provide documented legal and financial support to Antifa-related activities. The International Anti-Fascist Defence Fund, for example, has donated over $250,000 to more than 750 anti-fascists and anti-racists in 26 countries since 2015, with author Mark Bray pledging half the proceeds of Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook to the fund. The National Lawyers Guild (NLG) and its foundation reported combined revenues of over $3 million in 2018, supported in part by grants such as $2.7 million from Greater Horizons, $110,000 from the Warsh Mott Legacy foundation, and matching grants from the CS Fund for the NLG’s Mass Defense Program.

Legal defense and bail networks have also played a key role. The National Bail Fund Network, which coordinates 80 local bail funds across the U.S., is run through the Soros-funded Tides Center’s Community Justice Exchange. The Alliance for Global Justice, which has received hundreds of thousands of dollars from Soros’s nonprofit, financially supports bail funds like the Louisville Community Bail Fund.

Other bail organizations frequently bailing out Antifa activists include the Action Bail Fund NYC, Minnesota Freedom Fund, Chicago Community Bond Fund, Brooklyn Community Bail Fund, Bronx Freedom Fund, Atlanta Solidarity Fund, the NLG, and the Center for Constitutional Rights. Then-Senator Kamala Harris even encouraged donations during the 2020 riots, tweeting: “If you’re able to, chip in now to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota.”

Politically, some Democrats have defended or been accused of sympathizing with Antifa-aligned causes. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene accused Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of supporting “terrorists and Antifa” due to her opposition to ICE and Republican events. Other members of “The Squad”, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley, have faced similar criticism, with Democratic leadership figures like Rep. Gregory Meeks and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defending them against Republican attacks.

September 22, 2025 - Democrats threaten government shutdown; Hakeem Jeffries threatens a Democrat-led DOJ will go after Trump people

(…) Democrats on Wednesday released an alternative that would extend funding only through Oct. 31 but tacks on a range of priorities: a permanent extension of subsidies under the Affordable Care Act that are set to expire at the end of the year; the reversal of Medicaid cuts enacted in the GOP’s Big, Beautiful Bill; and new guardrails to prevent the Trump Administration from freezing or rescinding money that Congress has approved. Their measure also restores nearly half a billion dollars to public broadcasting, lifts the freeze on foreign aid funding, and boosts congressional security funds in the wake of the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

The proposal amounts to a political manifesto as much as a governing plan. Few Democrats expect it to be enacted as written. But leaders argue that it signals their baseline demands for any negotiation—and highlights contrasts they believe will resonate with voters.

Two weeks ahead of the key deadline, party leaders are staking out a rhetorical hard line demanding that their Republican counterparts come to the negotiating table to discuss concessions on health care and other issues.

They released an alternative funding patch Wednesday that extends government funding through the end of October and tacks on a host of policy demands, including an extension of health care subsidies, the repeal of Medicaid cuts in the GOP megabill and more.

Democrats hope the counteroffer will kindle bipartisan talks. But Republicans are instead accusing them of hypocrisy, citing all the times they insisted the GOP had to swallow a “clean” short-term funding bill in past shutdown fights.

Still, under tremendous pressure from their base to show that they are willing to fight President Donald Trump, Democrats are flirting with a politically risky shutdown without a firm exit plan or even an idea of what victory might look like.

“We may not have the luxury of a victory scenario,” said Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.). “I think what we’re trying to do is avoid things getting worse. I don’t think victory is in anyone’s hopes and dreams in this moment.”

Thus far, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries have focused on the lowest common denominator uniting the various factions inside their ranks: demanding negotiations in return for Democratic votes to avoid a shutdown — which are necessary due to the Senate filibuster.

But their GOP counterparts, Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, have been more than happy to turn the tables and paint Democrats as the ones making unreasonable demands.

Trump responds to Hakeem Jeffries 9/23/2025:

After reviewing the details of the unserious and ridiculous demands being made by the Minority Radical Left Democrats in return for their Votes to keep our thriving Country open, I have decided that no meeting with their Congressional Leaders could possibly be productive. They are threatening to shut down the Government of the United States unless they can have over $1 Trillion Dollars in new spending to continue free healthcare for Illegal Aliens (A monumental cost!), force Taxpayers to fund Transgender surgery for minors, have dead people on the Medicaid roles, allow Illegal Alien Criminals to steal Billions of Dollars in American Taxpayer Benefits, try to force our Country to again open our Borders to Criminals and to the World, allow men to play in women’s sports, and essentially create Transgender operations for everybody. These Radical Left Views and Policies is what allowed me to win the Presidential Election, including all seven Swing States, and the Popular Vote, IN A HISTORIC LANDSLIDE. Today, in remarks to the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, President Donald J. September 23, 2025 - Google admits censorship under Biden; promises to end banning YouTube accounts of thousands of Americans censored for political speech

Today, thanks to the oversight of Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), Google commits to offer all creators previously kicked off YouTube due to political speech violations on topics such as COVID-19 and elections an opportunity to return to the platform.

Google also admitted the following to the House Judiciary Committee:

  1. The Biden Administration pressured Google to censor Americans and remove content that did not violate YouTube’s policies.
  2. The Biden Administration censorship pressure was “unacceptable and wrong.”
  3. Public debate should never come at the expense of relying “authorities.”
  4. The company will never use third-party “fact-checkers.”
  5. Europe’s censorship laws target American companies and threaten American speech, including the removal of “lawful content.”

These major admissions come after Chairman Jordan’s subpoena to Google and a years long investigation into the company.

September 23, 2025 - Secret Service busts massive network used in swatting attacks against Marjorie Taylor Greene, other Republicans

The Secret Service has uncovered a vast network of over 100,000 SIM cards and 300 servers in the New York area, believed to be used by foreign “nation-state threat actors” and criminals for swatting calls targeting prominent conservatives including Marjorie Taylor Greene. The amount of hardware seized in the bust could be used to hamper cell service in New York City.

The U.S. Secret Service has uncovered a massive network of more than 100,000 SIM cards and 300 servers located within a 35-mile radius of New York City. The operation, believed to be run by foreign “nation-state threat actors” and criminals, was uncovered during an investigation into a surge of swatting calls targeting high-ranking government officials, including members of Congress and the Trump administration.

Targets of the swatting calls reportedly include Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), and Nikki Haley. The Secret Service’s Advanced Threat Interdiction Unit, in collaboration with various law enforcement agencies, traced the swatting signals to several locations in the New York tri-state area. Upon further investigation, they found a sophisticated network of SIM servers capable of generating enormous amounts of phone traffic while rapidly switching out SIM cards to evade detection.

According to Matt McCool, the special agent in charge of the Secret Service’s New York field office, the network posed an “imminent threat” to the agency’s protective operations. The servers, strategically positioned around New York City’s cellular network infrastructure, could have overwhelmed cell towers and disrupted cell service for the entire city. Furthermore, the network was powerful enough to send an encrypted, anonymous text message to every person in the United States within just 12 minutes.

While no arrests have been made in connection with the operation, early forensic analysis suggests that the network has been utilized by cartels, human traffickers, and terrorists. “It is absolutely well funded and well-organized,” McCool stated, emphasizing the gravity of the situation. September 25, 2025 - Extreme left attack on ICE facility in Dallas kills illegal aliens; Dem senator refuses to change rhetoric that spurs such attacks

(…) Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) director Kash Patel confirmed on Thursday that the alleged shooter, Joshua Jahn, downloaded a document that contained a list of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) facilities, searched multiple ballistics and the video of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk getting shot and looked up apps that track ICE agents. Authorities also discovered a handwritten note which stated, “Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, ‘is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?’”

Patel released a photograph of the bullet casings on Wednesday, which had been engraved with the phrase, “ANTI-ICE.” More evidence released on Thursday morning suggested the suspect searched apps that tracked ICE agents and left a note suggesting he intended to attack agents.

Democrats have compared ICE to the Nazi regime and have accused the agency of being authoritarian. Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett said on Friday that ICE agents are akin to “slave patrols” during an MSNBC interview. Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz notably labeled ICE as the “modern-day Gestapo” during a commencement speech in May.

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said in May that ICE is a “rogue agency that should not exist.” Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has also repeatedly called for ICE to be abolished and even pushed a debunked story published by NBC News, which alleged that ICE detained a 5-year-old autistic girl.

ICE facilities have faced a substantial increase in attacks since Trump began cracking down on illegal immigration on Jan. 20. Agents have endured a 1000% increase in assaults against them and the doxxing of themselves and their families, according to DHS.

(…) Murphy said on “Morning Joe” that accusing ICE agents of “rounding up” illegal immigrants in a “deeply inhumane and immoral way” is not an incitement of violence, continuing that Democrats should keep using this type of rhetoric. He claimed that President Donald Trump’s administration is exploiting the recent acts of violence in the U.S. for its own political gain.

“This president, this vice president has had a chance now since the assassination of Charlie Kirk to bring the country together, to try and stamp out all sorts of violence, including political violence, and they refuse to do that,” Murphy said. “What they are trying to do is exploit these murders , these shootings, in order to silence only dissent and political opposition on the left. No, criticizing the way that ICE is rounding up people in this country in a deeply inhumane and immoral way is not an incitement to violence. There is a moment where you cross the line, but what they are trying to do is to destroy the ability for people who oppose their policies to legitimately engage in political debate.”

September 25, 2025 - Scores of FBI agents and personnel filed anonymous complaints about the bureau becoming politically biased

Hidden for four years, an after-action report on FBI’s involvement in Jan. 6 riot found by Director Patel shows dozens of agents feared that the FBI had become “woke” and “liberally biased.”

(…) Scores of FBI agents and personnel – many from the bureau’s premier Washington field office (WFO) – sent anonymous complaints to the after-action team detailing how agents were sent into an unsafe scenario without proper safety equipment or the ability to identify themselves readily as armed officers to other police agencies, the report obtained by Just the News shows.

The most persistent complaint was that the bureau during the James Comey and Chris Wray era had become infected with political biases and liberal ideology that treated the protesters from the summer 2020 Black Lives Matter riots far differently than those arrested in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 episode.

“The FBI should make clear to its personnel and the public that, despite its obvious political bias, it ultimately still takes its mission and priorities seriously,” one employee wrote in a stinging review. “It should equally and aggressively investigate criminal activity regardless of the offenders’ perceived race, political affiliations, or motivations; and it should equally and aggressively protect all Americans regardless of perceived race, political affiliations, or motivations.”

That agent urged FBI leaders “to identify viable exit options for FBI personnel who no longer feel it is legally or morally acceptable to support a federal law enforcement and intelligence agency motivated by political bias.”

One agent suggested the problem extended beyond the bureau to D.C. U.S. Attorney’s office, indicating a more widespread problem with political bias.

“Currently, the US Attorneys office is dictating what it is that gets investigated. This is a dangerous precedent because we can barely get them to prosecute investigations that clearly meet thresholds needed for Federal prosecutions,” the agent wrote. “However, their willingness to conduct a search warrant on someone’s life for a misdemeanor seems ridiculous. It is unreasonable for the FBI to conduct investigations involving misdemeanor violations at a federal level… it is not our role.”

Many of the agents’ feedback focused on the Washington Field Office and its culture. “WFO is a hopelessly broken office that’s more concerned about wearing masks and recruiting preferred racial/sexual groups than catching actual bad guys,” one worker wrote.

Added another: “I wish you all would pay more attention to our safety than what type of masks we wear. If you are going to deploy us to a riot situation, then give us the proper damn safety equipment–helmet, face shield, protective clothing–and training!”

The after-action responses – 50 pages in all – were located by current FBI Director Kash Patel’s team and recently turned over to the House Judiciary Committee and its special subcommittee investigating security failures and weaponization of law enforcement during the Jan. 6 riot.

274 undercover agents embedded in riot , with no safety plans

The document has proven a bombshell to lawmakers, revealing for the first time that the FBI had a total of 274 agents deployed to the Capitol in plainclothes and with guns after the violence started but with no clear safety gear of way to be recognized by other law enforcement agencies working in the chaos of the riot.

September 25, 2025 - Leftist gun club tied to violence recruiting on Georgetown campus echoes Kirk killing: 'Hey fascist! Catch!'

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s Sept. 10 assassination allegedly at the hands of a left-wing ideologue, a leftist gun club with ties to political violence posted recruiting flyers at Georgetown University with references to Kirk’s death.

“Hey fascist! Catch!” says a red flyer from the John Brown Gun Club posted on Georgetown’s campus.

The phrase is a nod to the same slogan which was allegedly written on a shell casing by Tyler Robinson, who stands accused of murdering Kirk at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University.

“The only political group that celebrates when Nazis die,” the advertisement says.

It is adorned with a QR code linking to a page that says, “We’re building a community that’s done with ceremonial resistance and strongly worded letters. If you want to make a real change in your community, let us know below.”

Turning Point USA spokesman and Charlie Kirk Show executive producer Andrew Kolvet flagged the flyers in a social media post Wednesday afternoon.

Shae McInnis, a sophomore at Georgetown University and treasurer of the school’s College Republicans Club, found the posters in plain sight on the school’s activity board on Wednesday morning.

“So, obviously I read this immediately as a threat, not only for me but for everyone on this campus,” McInnis told Fox News Digital. “Every conservative, everyone who just does not subscribe to the prevailing leftist orthodoxy. This is a direct threat against them. It means that there are students at this campus who want to see conservatives dead rather than engaging with their ideas, rather than facilitating a political discourse.”

“Ever since President Trump won the election in January, we’ve seen an increase in this rhetoric,” he continued. “But really, I think many conservatives noticed a change after Charlie Kirk’s assassination. While much of the school was united in condemning this horrible act of political violence, there have been fringe elements on the left on social media that we have seen really defend this, justify this, and that is really unacceptable.

“I am aware of the appalling posters that were displayed on Georgetown’s campus today. At a moment like this, Georgetown has to determine what it stands for as an institution,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon posted to X on Wednesday evening. Former FBI Director Chris Wray lied and lectured House Republicans for accusing the FBI of planting informants/operatives/agents inside the massive crowd of Trump supporters on January 6, 2021.

In a bold statement that directly contradicts multiple official sources, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before Congress in July 2023 that he “does not believe” undercover FBI agents were present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Wray’s statement came during a tense exchange with Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ), who specifically asked about the number of undercover agents in the Capitol vicinity on the infamous day.

Wray stated that he could not provide such a figure and even expressed doubt about the presence of undercover agents at all.

“I’m not sure there were undercover agents on scene,” Wray responded to Biggs. “As I sit here right now, I do not believe there were undercover agents on.”

Biggs wrote on Twitter that “Wray will be held accountable for this lie.”

“FBI Director Wray just told me he “does not believe” there were any undercover FBI agents in or around the U.S. Capitol on January 6. This claim has been already debunked—including by the former U.S. Capitol Police Chief,” Biggs added.

The Director’s statement is in stark contrast to facts previously revealed by the Washington D.C. FBI Field Office. According to their confirmed reports, a number of undercover officers, confidential informants, and FBI assets were indeed present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th.

On Thursday night, the FBI finally acknowledged it had 274 plainclothes agents in the massive crowds on Jan. 6, 2021. This was hundreds more than was previously reported.

The Blaze reported:

A senior congressional source said the number is not necessarily a surprise, since the FBI often embeds countersurveillance personnel at large events.

But given the FBI’s until-now steadfast refusal to disclose the level of its presence at the Capitol, the figure might still be viewed with skepticism in some quarters.

The news comes in the wake of claims by the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Inspector General that the FBI had no undercover personnel in the Jan. 6 crowds.

“We found no evidence in the materials we reviewed or the testimony we received showing or suggesting that the FBI had undercover employees in the various protest crowds, or at the Capitol, on January 6,” the DOJ OIG said in an 88-page report released in December 2024.

September 27, 2025 - Former CIA John Brennan investigates himself and finds he did nothing wrong

Embattled former CIA Director John Brennan boasted on MSNBC over the weekend that he investigated himself and found no wrongdoing.

Brennan made the claims on Saturday’s edition of The Weekend in response to legacy media reports falsely claiming that DNI Tulsi Gabbard may have hampered the criminal case against him after she revoked the security clearances of potential witnesses.

“I don’t see any case against me. I have looked back on all of my actions and decisions, and with John Durham, the special counsel, and others that have looked at what we did — they were certainly consistent with our legal authorities and with the law,” Brennan said.

His remarks quickly circulated online, with critics mocking him for seemingly acting as his own judge and jury. In a sarcastic X post that garnered more than one million views, popular page Western Lensman wrote, “Well, that settles it then.”

September 27, 2025 - Newsom doubles down on calling White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, a "fascist"

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) spent all day on social media Saturday, defending his incendiary claim that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller is a “fascist.”

Newsom decided to call Miller a “fascist” just days after the same accusation was carved into the bullet casings apparently used in the assassination Charlie Kirk. He had also called Miller, who is Jewish, “SS” — a reference to the Nazis who led the Holocaust.

As Breitbart News reported, several prominent commentators called on Newsom to stop the hateful rhetoric, including Andrew Kolvet, who co-hosted Kirk’s radio show and was close to the late conservative leader.

But Newsom persisted, and spent the entire day on Saturday defending and doubling down on “fascist.”

Often, Newsom appeared to imitate President Donald Trump’s rhetorical style, as he has done in the past.

September 27, 2025 - A mass shooting at the American Fish Company restaurant in NC; suspect in custody

A gunman in a boat pulled up to the American Fish Company restaurant dock in the North Carolina coastal town of Southport’s Southport Yacht Basin Saturday night and opened fire.

The shooter killed three and wounded eight others according to a city official.

The shooter then escaped via the Intracoastal Waterway, however a person of interest was being interviewed according to a late update.

Nigel Max Edge was arrested and charged with three counts of first degree murder and five counts of attempted first degree murder in Southport, NC.

Edge is a former Marine and Iraq War veteran who suffered a traumatic brain injury and was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

According to Channel 2 Now – the U.S. Coast Guard detained Nigel Max Edge at the NE 55th Street public boat ramp, taking him into custody without further incident. He is currently being held at the Brunswick County Jail without bond.

September 28, 2025 - Portland’s surrender to Antifa makes federal action necessary

President Trump’s decision to honor Secretary Kristi Noem’s request for federal and National Guard troops to defend federal facilities in Portland is not merely permissible, it is obligatory under the Constitution and the Insurrection Act. For over 100 nights, federal buildings and employees in Portland have been targeted by Antifa-aligned insurgents who openly declare the federal government to be an enemy that must be toppled. They block entrances, trap workers, assault officers, and obstruct immigration enforcement at an ICE facility. Local and state officials have abdicated their responsibility to protect federal property and personnel, adopting a policy of passivity that has allowed these camps to grow, resupply, and endure. In such a scenario, the President does not have discretion to look away. He has a duty to act.

The legal framework is straightforward. The Insurrection Act empowers the President to deploy troops when insurrection, rebellion, or unlawful obstruction renders enforcement of US law impracticable. Courts have repeatedly treated the determination of whether such an insurrection exists as a “political question” reserved to the President. In Martin v. Mott (1827), the Supreme Court made clear that the President is the “exclusive judge” of whether an exigency exists that requires calling forth military force. No governor, no judge, not even Congress, may substitute their judgment for his on this threshold matter. Once the President declares that an insurrection or unlawful obstruction exists, the only remaining question is whether the deployment comports with statutory limits. Protecting federal property and staff is unquestionably within those limits.

The Posse Comitatus Act does not bar this deployment. That Act prevents the Army and Air Force, and by policy the other branches, from acting as domestic police except when expressly authorized. The Insurrection Act is precisely such an authorization. Once invoked, the PCA’s restriction falls away. Historical precedent confirms this. President Eisenhower sent the 101st Airborne into Little Rock in 1957 and federalized the Arkansas National Guard to enforce school desegregation against the will of state leaders. President George H. W. Bush deployed federal troops to Los Angeles in 1992 at the request of California officials to restore order. In both instances, protecting the execution of federal law was paramount. Portland today falls squarely within this tradition.

Critics may insist that the Portland unrest does not rise to the level of an insurrection. But this is not a legal test administered by judges, it is a factual determination entrusted to the President. The sustained, organized, and violent attacks on an ICE facility and its personnel, combined with the refusal of local authorities to intervene, clearly meet the statutory standard. Sections 252 and 253 of the Insurrection Act expressly empower the President to act unilaterally when state officials are unwilling or unable to secure federal functions or protect the rights of citizens. Portland’s leaders have stated outright that their police will not assist federal officers at the ICE facility. That posture, by itself, establishes the impracticability of enforcing federal law through normal means.

The Department of Homeland Security has borne the brunt of these attacks. For over three months, DHS officers, U.S. Marshals, and Border Patrol tactical teams have stood as the sole line of defense against nightly sieges. They have cleared roadways so employees can enter and leave. They have protected transport convoys moving detainees. They have endured assaults with lasers, fireworks, and projectiles. Fatigue has set in. Secretary Noem rightly concluded that DHS needed reinforcement. Her request to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth was not a plea for political theater, but a professional assessment that more resources were needed to sustain the defense of federal property. The President, faced with such a request from his Homeland Security chief, was duty-bound to honor it.

It is tempting to view this as a clash between federal and local authority, but that framing misunderstands the Constitution. Federal property, federal officers, and federal functions exist independently of local control. No city or state can lawfully decide to expose them to mob rule. The Supremacy Clause guarantees that federal law is supreme and binding in every state. When local officials obstruct that supremacy by failing to protect federal functions, the President has the authority, indeed the obligation, to intervene. To fail in this duty would itself be a dereliction of his oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution.   3. Remedies shall be pursued to strip pensions and retirement income from those convicted of complicity.
  4. All such officers shall be barred from future appointment to senior executive service, advisory roles, or positions of public trust.

Directive

This charge sheet stands as notice that the Armed Forces will no longer tolerate betrayal of oath, dereliction of duty, or mutiny cloaked in administrative authority.

The Constitution remains the supreme law of the land. It will be enforced.

September 30, 2025 - DC Police Sergeant arrested after crashing into federal agents’ car; found with machine gun and arsenal of unregistered firearms

A Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) sergeant was arrested last night after crashing his vehicle into a car carrying federal agents, and was discovered to be armed with a machine gun and a cache of unregistered firearms.

The suspect, Sgt. Montez Clark (age 27), was driving a blue Chevrolet Camaro when District and federal law enforcement officers attempted to stop the vehicle for what they described as an equipment violation, according to NBC Washington.

Rather than comply, Clark allegedly fled, colliding head-on with a vehicle carrying three Diplomatic Security Service agents.

Once the vehicle was immobilized, federal and local officers say they discovered a terrifying arsenal: two Glocks, one equipped with a “switch” converting it into an automatic machine gun, plus multiple types of unregistered ammunition and high-capacity magazines.

Clark, along with two passengers identified as Sakou Yates (25) and Russell Campbell (23), were taken into custody. Charges against Sgt. Clark reportedly include:

  • Assault on a federal law enforcement officer
  • Fleeing law enforcement
  • Leaving after colliding
  • Possession of a machine gun
  • Possession of unregistered firearms and ammunition
  • Carrying a pistol without a license
  • Violation of the National Firearms Act
  • Possession of a large-capacity ammunition-feeding device
  • Related firearms violations

Campbell faces an additional count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to WJLA.

September 30, 2025 - FBI surveilled Rep. Scott Perry before seizing his cell phone as part of ‘Arctic Frost’ probe into 2020 election

The FBI surveilled Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) at his congressional office and private residence roughly a month before seizing his cell phone and demanding information for a sprawling probe into 2020 election interference, unclassified records reviewed by The Post show.

The files — which are part of a probe known as “Arctic Frost” that targeted nearly 100 Republican-aligned entities in the wake of President Trump’s electoral loss — show that Perry was trailed by bureau agents in July and August 2022.

“Goal from surveillance is to get a pattern of life, identify his vehicle, and possibly identify a location to serve him with a SW [seizure warrant],” one of the FBI’s documents stated.

Agents watched for Perry and took log notes on July 25 at his home “just south of Harrisburg,” Pennsylvania and at two workplaces in Washington, DC, other documents showed, while on Aug. 4, the congressman was surveilled at a “recreation center” in the nation’s capital.

The records were first obtained by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) as part of his oversight of the Arctic Frost probe, referred to in the newly uncovered FBI files as a “sensitive election law investigation.”

“Why were apparently undercover FBI agents surveilling Rep. Perry while representing his constituents at the US Capitol?” asked Russell Dye, a spokesman for Jordan, calling it “a glaring separation-of-powers concern.”

“Was this something approved by Speaker Pelosi? Was it approved by the Democrat’s sham January 6th Committee? Should other Members be concerned that they were being watched for carrying out their constitutional duties?” he added.

The Office of Congressional Affairs was notified of the FBI wanting to conduct an interview with Perry, per the documents.

Five days after the last surveillance date, the FBI executed its warrant while Perry was on vacation in New Jersey on Aug. 9 during the congressional recess.

They had planned to surreptitiously record an interview with him the same date — just one day after agents raided President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla.

“They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish,” Perry said in a statement to Fox News at the time.
