Do you ever wonder how your country was sold out? Why the jobs left the rust belt and never came back? Why chinese companies get to outcompete American businesses through “engagement” on Chinese terms? Wonder why we never got an inquiry into Covid origins in Wuhan?

Elaine Chao is emblematic of the elite capture. She held appointments in CCP organizations while serving as Labor Secretary for the entire Bush administration and Transportation Secretary in the first Trump term. Oh and don’t worry about her marriage to Mitch McConnell – he’s only the most powerful Republican for a generation.

(Surprise surprise, he voted to support China’s Permanent normal trade relations status with the US back in 2000)

Her family also happens to own a shipping company called Foremost Group, whose fleet is overwhelmingly oriented toward Chinese ports, whose ships are built in Chinese state yards, and whose financing includes Chinese government-linked loans. Campaign contributions and multimillion-dollar gifts flowed from that family into McConnell’s political world. Why would they want a trade war?

She is just the tip of the iceberg by the way. There are MANY MORE, and some who have already passed (like Diane Feinstein). US-China policy ran on a single script for decades until Trump broke the mold in 2016.

“She has never held a position with a foreign government or acted on behalf of one. We are not aware she has met with representatives from UFWD entities,” Chao’s spokesperson told @Dailycaller after being sent Chinese government and state media photos published between 2010 and 2026 showing Chao meeting with officials from the CCP and/or UFWD. “Such a suggestion disregards her nearly five decades of faithful service to the United States and is both unfounded and deeply insulting, hurtful and racist.”
