December 28, 2025 - Harmeet Dhillon explains why the statute of limitations will not hinder DOJ prosecution of January 6 criminals

IMPORTANT DEFLECTION:

Harmeet Dhillon announced there will be no prosecutions for those behind J6 before the general statute of limitations runs.

Harmeet—one of the only productive members of the DOJ—apparently drew the short straw and was forced to defend Bondi again. In an announcement designed to deflect and defuse, Harmeet discussed why it doesn’t matter that nothing will happen to the J6 perpetrators by the 5th anniversary of their crime. She focused on statute of limitations nuances, correctly noting exceptions, but did so to preempt massive backlash from MAGA and We the People when the J6 anniversary passes with nothing from the Bondi DOJ.

No single issue motivated the MAGA base to vote for Donald Trump more than the promise of accountability and justice for the swamp. As the fifth anniversary nears, excuses are emerging.

The issue is not statute of limitations technicalities—it’s about justice. BTW, the Biden DOJ made about 725 J6 arrests in one year, with 87 sentenced and their lives destroyed.

How many criminals behind J6 has Bondi arrested, charged, or sentenced?

December 29, 2025 - Latest FBI release of Covenant School manifesto files confirm trans killer bought guns with Pell grant money

The FBI on Monday released another 230 manifesto pages written by Audrey Elizabeth Hale, the biological female who identified as a transgender man on March 27, 2023, when the 28-year-old killed six at the Covenant School in Nashville, the Christian elementary school she once attended.

This latest journal appears to have been written sometime in late 2021, and includes lengthy sections about the weapons the killer planned to use to commit a mass shooting at a school sometime that year.

Following multiple pages full of weapons to purchase, the journal includes a page labeled “Account Savings Record,” which appears to reference the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It also records multiple payments received from Nossi during the period when Hale attended the Nossi College of Art and Design in Nashville.

“FASFA [sic] grant checks started at $2,050.86,” wrote Hale at the top of the entry.

The page then lists a series of apparent ledger entries, starting with, “$2,656.87 (x3 checks from Nossi).” The next ledger entry states, “+$530.00 (x1 check Nossi) ($3,186.87).”

This reference to Hale’s federal student aid, located in the writings next to her entries about guns she considered buying, appears to corroborate the claims made by her parents to Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) detectives in 2023, when they told law enforcement their child purchased the firearms using federal Pell Grant money.

Hale’s parents told MNPD that the killer was only capable of taking two classes per semester at the college, requiring her to remain at the school until after she turned 25, when her parents’ income was no longer considered when determining what aid she would receive.

“Because she was 25, and because she’s still a matriculated student, she had to fill out financial aid forms, and when she became 25, she couldn’t use our income,” said Hale’s mother. “So then she had no income and so she got this grant money.”

Former MNPD Detective Bobby Samuels, who left the department and moved out of Tennessee in early 2024, then stated that the investigators were curious how Hale was able to afford the weapons used at the Covenant School, prompting her mother to credit the money received for her education. – Submitted fake invoices and fake rosters of kids purportedly receiving meals
– 78 defendants charged to date | 57 defendants convicted
– 72 of the defendants are of Somalian descent | 5 defendants are currently fugitives in Africa
– Millions of taxpayer dollars in fraud proceeds were sent overseas to East Africa and the Middle East
-Ultimate price tag? $300-400 million.

Scam 2: JUROR BRIBERY

Not unlike what you would see in the corrupt Somali judicial system, defendants in the Feeding Our Future case intimidated a cooperating defendant and attempted to bribe jurors

– 3 defendants delivered a bag containing $120,000 in cash to a juror’s house the night before closing arguments
– They promised more money if the juror voted to acquit all 7 trial defendants
– They offered this argument: “We are immigrants; they don’t respect or care about us”

Scam 3: AUTISM TREATMENT MEDICAID SCHEME

-Many defendants from the Feeding Our Future scam also set up fake “autism clinics”
-Parents in the Somali community reported their children diagnosed as autistic, brought them into daycares disguised as “clinics,” and received huge financial kickbacks
-The state government program underwriting this scam was supposed to cost $20 million.
Somehow, it ballooned to $200 million…at taxpayers’ expense

Scam 4: MEDICAID FRAUD

-Fraudsters identified Minnesota’s Medication coverage program for Housing Stabilization Services – a program meant to help people with disabilities, senior citizens, and people with mental illnesses
-Then, they started sham LLCs and began signing up drug addicts and others in halfway houses for services that were NEVER provided.
-The program was supposed to cost $2.6 million per year – it exploded to $125 million per year

December 29, 2025 - Children appear at Quality "Learing" Center; on same day, MN Children's Commissioner claims daycare shut down last week

NEW: The Quality Learing Center in Minneapolis is now “trucking” in children after Nick Shirley’s viral video, according to the New York Post.

The Post reports that the parking lot at the infamous Quality Learing Center is now “bustling with kids.”

“We’ve never seen kids go in there until today. That parking lot is empty all the time, and I was under the impression that place is permanently closed,” a local said.

About 20 kids were seen “streaming in and out” of the center, according to the Post.

“You do realize there’s supposed to be 99 children here in this building, and there’s no one here?” Shirley said in his viral video.

The owner’s son, Ali Ibrahim, claims Shirley came before they opened and is blaming their graphic designer for messing up the sign.

“What I understand is [the owners] dealt with a graphic designer. He did it incorrectly. I guess they didn’t think it was a big issue,” Ibrahim said.

NEW: Manager of the Quality Learing Center says there is no fraud going on as he stands in front of a sign that is spelled wrong.

The manager says the center has never closed once over the last 8 years & pointed to the busy parking lot as proof they were in business.

Bizarrely enough, MN Department of Children commissioner Tikki Brown claimed, within hours of this video’s production, that the Quality Learing Center closed down last week.

Today, however, the Quality Learing Center was packed with kids.

The New York Post reports the children were “trucked” in, with one local saying it was the first time they had seen kids go into the building.

They need to coordinate next time before they try to cover up a crime.

This is from a 2018 Minnesota criminal prosecution against Somali daycare fraudsters.

In surveillance video, Somali parents would take their kids to the daycare, check them in, and then leave with them moments later.

The owners of the daycare would then bill the state for a full day of childcare– and give the parents kickback payments for being in on the fraud.

Somali fraudsters have been stealing from taxpayers for years and it’s clear that the entire Somali community is in on it.

December 29, 2025 - Judge rules Trump admin can share illegal migrant Medicaid data with ICE

A federal judge ruled Monday that the Trump administration can share Medicaid information pertaining to illegal migrants with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers next month.

The ruling comes after 22 Democratic states sued to stop the government from sharing the information in July, which was granted while the case played out. The liberal states can still appeal the ruling.

The order approved an agreement between the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Department of Homeland Security in July that allowed ICE officials to access the personal data of 79 million Medicaid enrollees, including home addresses, to track down the illegal migrants.

U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria ruled that ICE officials can access six categories of “basic” personal information: Address, citizenship, immigration status, phone number, date of birth and Medicaid ID.

“The sharing of such information is clearly authorized by law and the agencies have adequately explained their decisions,” Chhabria wrote in the seven-page order. “Beyond the basic information discussed above, the policies are totally unclear and do not appear to be the product of a coherent decision-making process.”

December 30, 2025 - HUD uncovers $ billions in ‘questionable’ Biden era rental assistance, including payments to noncitizens and dead people

WHAT HAPPENED: A report by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) revealed billions in taxpayer funds went to “questionable” rental assistance recipients, including deceased tenants and potential non-citizens.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: HUD, under the Biden government, distributed funds to non-federal entities; dead people and non-citizens were among recipients.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The recently released report covers funds distributed in all 50 states, with a particular focus on New York, California, and Washington, D.C.

December 31, 2025 - A Somali-owned daycare reports a break-in claiming child enrollment and employee records were stolen

Nokomis Daycare Center, a Somali-owned facility in south Minneapolis, reported a break-in on December 30-31, 2025, claiming burglars stole sensitive records—including child enrollment documents, employee files, and checkbooks—amid intense scrutiny of alleged fraud in Minnesota’s childcare programs.

Manager Nasrulah Mohamed held a press conference on December 31, describing vandalism (e.g., a hole in the wall) and the theft as devastating, linking it to hateful threats sparked by a viral YouTube video from Nick Shirley alleging widespread fraud in Somali-run daycares. The center, licensed for up to 71 children, was not featured in Shirley’s video but reported receiving racist voicemails and threats afterward. Community advocates, including CAIR-MN, called it a hate-motivated act tied to online misinformation.

Minneapolis police confirmed vandalism and a break-in but initially reported no items stolen. Later updates referenced the daycare’s claims of missing documents, though some reports note inconsistencies, such as damage appearing to originate from inside. Social media and conservative outlets widely mocked the timing, suggesting it was a fabricated excuse to destroy evidence amid federal probes into billions in potential fraud across Minnesota human services programs. The man claiming to be the “owner” of Somali Nokomis Daycare is standing by his story, alleging the facility was broken into and that student enrollment files and employee records were stolen.

Minneapolis Police, however, say those claims don’t hold up. Investigators report no evidence of a break-in, no signs of forced entry, and no confirmation that anything was taken from the daycare.

Authorities say their findings directly contradict the owner’s account, adding to the growing scrutiny and unanswered questions surrounding the facility.

January 1, 2026 - Somalia’s ambassador to the UN is also tied to Progressive Health Care Services in Ohio

Somalia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Abukar Dahir Osman, is facing growing scrutiny over his connections to the Ohio healthcare company Progressive Health Care Services Inc. This comes as federal investigations into suspected Somali-linked welfare fraud, stretching from Minnesota to Washington, Ohio, and Maine, continue to intensify, with allegations that some entities (daycares, healthcare, or transportation service companies) were merely front operations to extract taxpayer funds.

The story surrounding Osman is certainly a strange one, with the news and analysis outlet Horn Diplomat publishing a report titled “Ethics Questions Surround Somalia’s UN Envoy, as U.S. Healthcare Fraud Scandals Heighten Scrutiny.”

Here’s the report:

Public corporate filings and professional records have raised questions about transparency and potential conflicts of interest involving Abukar Dahir Osman, Somalia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

The scrutiny comes as Somalia prepares to assume the rotating presidency of the United Nations Security Council on January 1, 2026, a role that places the country at the center of global diplomatic decision-making on peace, security and sanctions.

Ohio state corporate records show that Osman was listed as the statutory agent for Progressive Health Care Services Inc, a Cincinnati-based home healthcare company, while simultaneously serving as Somalia’s top diplomat at the United Nations.

Filings with the Ohio Secretary of State, electronically submitted on October 22, 2018, identify Osman as the company’s agent. He had been appointed Somalia’s UN ambassador in June 2017, creating an overlap of nearly two years between his diplomatic role and his involvement with a U.S. healthcare provider operating within Medicaid-funded systems supported by U.S. taxpayers.

Professional records, including publicly available LinkedIn information, indicate Osman served as Managing Director of Progressive Health Care Services Inc. from 2014 until May 2019, alongside his UN posting in New York.

The overlap has drawn attention because the U.S. home healthcare sector has repeatedly been identified by federal authorities as one of the areas most vulnerable to fraud, abuse and improper billing.

(…) A new bombshell report now reveals that Somalia’s sitting ambassador to the United Nations once worked inside Ohio’s Medicaid bureaucracy, and later ran or represented a healthcare company reportedly placed on a federal fraud exclusion list.

Abukar Dahir Osman, often referred to by the nickname “Baale,” currently serves as Somalia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, a post he has held since 2017.

As of this month, Osman holds one of the most powerful rotating positions in global diplomacy: President of the UN Security Council.

In that role, he:

  • Oversees Security Council meetings
  • Sets the Council’s agenda
  • Manages resolutions and presidential statements
  • Speaks for the A3+ bloc (African nations plus Caribbean representation) on issues like Afghanistan and Yemen

But before assuming global authority in New York, Osman spent years embedded inside Ohio’s public welfare system.

Osman relocated to the United States in the late 1980s and built his career in Ohio’s taxpayer-funded social services apparatus.

From 1999 to 2012, he worked at the Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services, serving as:

  • Case Manager
  • Social Program Specialist

Osman was also a supervisor for the Medicaid office in Franklin County, Ohio, from 2007 to 2012.

Mr. Osman also founded Beacon Educational Services, according to his profile on the UN.  He served as a consultant for the organization from 2007 to 2010.

The most alarming revelation involves Progressive Health Care Services Inc., an Ohio-based home healthcare company linked to Osman.

According to reporting cited by PJ Media and Prime Business Africa:

  • Osman served as Managing Director of Progressive Health Care Services from 2014 to 2019

  • He was also listed as a statutory agent in 2018, after becoming Somalia’s UN ambassador in 2017 — raising serious conflict-of-interest concerns

Upon reviewing Progressive Health Care Services’ National Provider Identifier (NPI) public profile, Abukar Osman was listed as the President and CEO.

Even more troubling:

Based on research conducted by The Gateway Pundit and reports from social media, Progressive Health Care Services Inc. appears on the November 2025 Updated List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) maintained by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG).

The listing falls under Exclusion Code 1128(a)(1).

Exclusion Code 1128(a)(1) refers to a mandatory exclusion from participation in all Federal health care programs (like Medicare and Medicaid) for individuals or entities convicted of a criminal offense related to fraud, theft, or financial misconduct in connection with providing or billing for health care items or services.

This means they can’t receive federal healthcare payments, and it’s a serious sanction imposed by the HHS Office of Inspector General (OIG).

Ukrainian far-right activists have marked the 117th birthday of WWII-era nationalist leader and Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera in the city of Lviv in Western Ukraine.

In footage published by Ukrainian media on Thursday, a line of people holding red flares is seen, meant to honor one of the leaders of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) during WWII.

The group allied with the invading Nazi Germans to carry out massacres of Poles, Jews, Russians, and Ukrainians they accused of collaborating with the Soviets.

Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko declared Bandera and the UPA national heroes in 2010, with his decision reaffirmed by the leadership installed following the 2014 Western-backed Maidan coup.

Ukrainian nationalist groups, especially in the West of the country, regularly commemorate dates connected to other infamous Nazi collaborators, such as Roman Shukhevich, another prominent figure in the UPA.

January 3, 2026 - Delta Force/law enforcement arrest Nicolás Maduro and wife in Venezuela; Democrats were for it before they turned against it

I have been monitoring the Venezuela issue all day long, and there are so many questions yet to be answered (thanks to great Pentagon OPSEC), but the strategic reason for bringing down Maduro has become abundantly clear.

While we ostensibly captured Maduro based on legitimate, outstanding US drug charges from 2020, the real reason for the military operations early this morning is that neutralizing Maduro’s Venezuela had become a strategic imperative for the USA.

Under Maduro, Venezuela had become the Latin American crossroads for all of the USA’s principal enemies. Maduro was nurturing relationships with Russia, Hezbollah and Iran. Worst of all, Venezuela was eagerly becoming a part of Red China’s Belt & Road initiative.

As America’s enemies were lining up Venezuela as their base of operations in the Western Hemisphere to cause mischief and destruction for the USA, Maduro was at the same time making Venezuela a crossroads, safe haven and enabler for all manner of narcoterrorist operations, ranging from Colombia’s FARC to Mexico’s Sinaloa cartel.

On top of all that, Venezuela had become a key player in the illegal alien invasion of the USA, shipping its very worst to the USA in a deliberate and comprehensive destabilizing operation that might have worked had Donald Trump not won in 2024.

Next in importance: oil. The global and regional ambitions of both China and Russia are in large part dependent on the politics of petroleum, and the USA just deprived both of the cudgel afforded by friendly Venezuelan oil. Trump opponents say “It’s about oil” as if that was a bad thing. Yeah, it’s about oil.

Finally, all of this was in keeping with the most essential and fundamental foreign policy mandate of the USA almost since the nation’s inception: the Monroe Doctrine. Operations like what Maduro was running simply cannot be allowed in the Western Hemisphere. Trump was right for falling back on this most basic of doctrines that protects the USA’s sovereignty.

So was Maduro seized because of some five year-old drug charges? Yes. Legally–yes. However, like so many strategic issues in the world today, an action needed to be backed by the fine points of law, and it was. But the reality is that the Maduro takedown was a Monroe Doctrine-driven necessity that has greatly enhanced the power and national security of the USA.

Congratulations, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth and the rest of the Trump national security team: you boldly took the steps necessary to defend the USA.

Joint Statement from the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Drug Enforcement Administration

The Department of Justice, working in close coordination with the Department of War, the Department of State, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Intelligence Community, and our interagency and international partners, successfully executed a complex law-enforcement mission to bring Nicolás Maduro into U.S. custody to face justice.

This operation required months of coordination, detailed planning, and seamless execution across multiple components of the federal government. The Department of War led this remarkable effort. We cannot thank our brave military heroes enough.

Specialized FBI and DEA personnel, including tactical and transport teams, worked alongside DOW and our DOJ attorneys and other DOJ components to ensure the secure movement, control, and transfer of 2 high-risk defendants. All personnel involved acted professionally, decisively, and in strict accordance with U.S. law and established protocols. This was a perfectly executed operation with intensive cooperation and trust among President Trump’s team.

The mission was conducted to support an ongoing criminal prosecution tied to large-scale narcotics trafficking and related offenses that have fueled violence, destabilized the region, and contributed directly to the drug crisis claiming American lives.

The United States pursued every lawful option to resolve this matter peacefully. Those opportunities were repeatedly rejected. The responsibility for this outcome rests solely with those who chose to continue criminal conduct rather than disengage.

This operation reflects the Department of Justice’s unwavering commitment to accountability, the rule of law, and the protection of U.S. national security. We are proud of the federal law-enforcement professionals who carried out this mission and of the partnerships that made it possible. God Bless America and God Bless President Trump.

Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, have been indicted in the Southern District of New York. Nicolas Maduro has been charged with Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machineguns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States. They will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts. On behalf of the entire U.S. DOJ, I would like to thank President Trump for having the courage to demand accountability on behalf of the American People, and a huge thank you to our brave military who conducted the incredible and highly successful mission to capture these two alleged international narco traffickers.

Democratic members quickly denounced the operation as unlawful. They may want to review past cases, particularly the decision related to the Noriega prosecution. Rep. Jim McGovern (D., Mass) declared:

“Without authorization from Congress, and with the vast majority of Americans opposed to military action, Trump just launched an unjustified, illegal strike on Venezuela. He says we don’t have enough money for healthcare for Americans—but somehow we have unlimited funds for war??”

Trump does not need congressional approval for this type of operation. Presidents, including Democratic presidents, have launched lethal attacks regularly against individuals. President Barack Obama killed an American citizen under this “kill list” policy. If Obama can vaporize an American citizen without even a criminal charge, Trump can capture a foreign citizen with a pending criminal indictment without prior congressional approval.

In a recent clip circulating online, a left-wing Rutgers professor speaks about white people, not as human beings, but as some collective moral problem that must be ended.

At one point, she says that “whiteness is going to have an end date” and follows it by saying, “We gotta take these motherfuckers out.”

This is one of the most flagrant, anti-white rants we’ve seen.

We don’t need to say this, but we will… if a white professor spoke this way about black people, there’s no amount of “context” on earth that would save them. And you can bet there’d be no debate about intent or nuance. People’s heads and careers would be rolling down the streets, and the story would dominate national headlines for a year or more. A former Georgia state Democrat lawmaker was federally charged for allegedly fraudulently obtaining nearly $14,000 in coronavirus-era unemployment benefits.

The development comes after Karen Bennett, who used to represent state House District 94, wrote a letter to Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Dec. 30 announcing that she would be “retiring” from her position on New Year’s Day after 12 years of service, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.

“As a result of the false application and certifications, Bennett collected a total of $13,940 of PUA [Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Program] benefits and federal supplements to which she was not entitled,” Theodore Hertzberg, the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, wrote in a court filing this week.

Prosecutors allege the former representative applied for PUA benefits in May 2020 and disclosed that she worked for the Georgia General Assembly and ran Metro Therapy, a private business where her role consisted “of providing in-home physical therapy services.” They said that in the application, Bennett claimed the job was “her primary occupation and primary means of livelihood” and the “pandemic prevented her from performing any service in connection with” Metro Therapy.

United States Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz tore into the U.N. Security Council Monday after the globalist establishment erupted in outraged denunciations over the decisive U.S. military operation that captured socialist tyrant Nicolás Maduro and brought him to New York to face federal narco-terrorism charges.

The U.N. Security Council is headed by Somalia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Abukar Dahir Osman, who assumed the leadership role this month.

“Mr. President, thank you for chairing. And I particularly want to thank you, Ms. De Freitas, for your briefing. And I’ll point out that Ms. De Freitas is in exile having fled the regime. Thank you for your courage and thank you for shedding a light on the true atrocities of the illegitimate Maduro regime.

This past weekend, colleagues, the United States successfully carried out a surgical law enforcement operation facilitated by the U.S. military against two indicted fugitives of American justice, narco-terrorist Nicolas Maduro and Cilia Flores. Colleagues, Nicolas Maduro is responsible for attacks on the people of the United States, for destabilizing the Western Hemisphere, and illegitimately repressing the people of Venezuela.

As Secretary Rubio has said, there is no war against Venezuela or its people. We are not occupying a country. This was a law enforcement operation in furtherance of lawful indictments that have existed for decades. The United States arrested a narcotrafficker who is now going to stand trial in the United States in accordance with the rule of law for the crimes he’s committed against our people for 15 years.

A similar action was taken in 1989 against Manuel Noriega. He was arrested, indicted, convicted in a court of law, served in prison in the United States and in Panama. And the Panamanian people, the American people, are safer for it. And undeniably, the region was more stable.

This law enforcement action was directed consistent with the President of the United States’ responsibility as Commander in Chief to protect Americans at home and abroad, against a fugitive who is directly responsible for narco-terrorism that has killed hundreds of thousands of Americans and created destabilizing violence throughout our hemisphere.

Nicolas Maduro and his co-defendant Cilia Flores have been transferred here to the United States to stand trial for their crimes. Maduro was indicted by a grand jury in the Southern District of New York and faces very serious criminal charges for his involvement in a wide-ranging conspiracy to conduct narcoterrorism, to traffic cocaine and other drugs, and conducting international weapons trafficking. The overwhelming evidence of his crimes will be presented openly in the U.S. court proceedings.

Colleagues, Maduro is not just an indicted drug trafficker; he was an illegitimate so-called president. He was not a head of state.

For years, Maduro and his cronies have manipulated Venezuela’s electoral system to maintain their illegitimate grip on power.

In fact, just two years ago in 2024, a UN panel of experts report found that the election in that year was absolutely and completely a farce and fell well short of the most basic transparency integrity measures essential to upholding credible elections.

If the UN and the United Nations and this body confers legitimacy on an illegitimate narco-terrorist and the same treatment in this charter of a democratically elected president or head of state, what kind of organization is this?

We should note that over 50 countries, many nations, including the European Union, including a number of Latin American countries in the region, and, of course, the United States – again over 50 countries rejected the legitimacy of Maduro’s re-election following the disputed 2024 elections, and do not – do not recognize him as Venezuela’s legitimately elected president.

Maduro unlawfully refused to peacefully cede power after the Venezuelan people voted him out of office in the 2024 election.

So therefore Maduro was a fugitive from justice. He is the head of a vicious Foreign Terrorist Organization Cartel de los Soles.

This regime-sponsored enterprise coordinates with and relies on other vicious criminal organizations, namely Tren de Aragua, again, among others, to carry out its objective of using illegal narcotics as a weapon against the United States.

For its part, Tren de Aragua is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization with thousands of members, many of whom have unlawfully infiltrated the United States and are conducting irregular warfare and undertaking hostile actions against the American people and against the United States.

Its terrorizing criminals commit brutal crimes, including murders, kidnappings, extortions, and human, drug, and weapons trafficking.

This administration, President Trump will not stand for it. In fact, in March of 2025, President Trump declared that “Tren de Aragua is undertaking hostile actions and conducting irregular warfare against the territory of the United States both directly and at the direction, clandestine or otherwise, of the Maduro regime in Venezuela.”

Maduro and his cronies have partnered with some of the most violent and prolific drug traffickers and narco-terrorists in the world for decades facilitating the flood of illegal drugs coming into the United States, estimated to be several hundred tons annually.

He has become rich, incredibly wealthy, off the misery of untold numbers of Americans, Venezuelans, and others, aiding and abetting international terrorist organizations like Hizballah, coordinating with corrupt Iranian officials, and other malign actors to influence not only the region but to malignly influence the United States.

In fact, in its own 2025 World Drug Report, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime identified Venezuela as a key trafficking route in the Western Hemisphere, the illegal drugs predominantly cocaine entering the United States and increasingly Europe.

As Secretary Rubio stated just yesterday, this is the Western Hemisphere. This is where we live – and we’re not going to allow the Western Hemisphere to be used as a base of operation for our nation’s adversaries, and competitors, and rivals of the United States.

You can’t turn Venezuela into the operating hub for Iran, for Hizballah, for gangs, for the Cuban intelligence agents and other malign actors that control that country.

You cannot continue to have the largest energy reserves in the world under the control of adversaries of the United States, under the control of illegitimate leaders, and not benefiting the people of Venezuela, and stolen by a handful of oligarchs inside of Venezuela.

But it doesn’t stop there. Numerous UN and international human rights organizations have issued reports documenting serious human rights abuses by the Maduro regime, including reports of extrajudicial killings, political prisoners, torture and arbitrary and unlawful detentions.

In fact, over 8 million Venezuelans have fled the country, destabilizing their neighbors in the region and creating the world’s largest refugee crisis.

Members of this Council, colleagues, the United States wants a better future for Venezuela. We believe a better future for the people of Venezuela and for the people of the region and the world is stabilizing the region and making the neighborhood that we live in a much better and safer place.

And this is why millions of Venezuelans that have fled this brutal regime are celebrating and cheering around the world as this body pontificates. Including those celebrating it, including in my home state of Florida, where hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans have fled this regime’s brutality.

I want to reiterate President Trump gave diplomacy a chance. He offered Maduro multiple off ramps. He tried to de-escalate. Maduro refused to take them. President Trump made it clear that the narcoterrorism must stop, and yet it continued.

The United States will not waver in our actions to protect Americans from the scourge of narcoterrorism and seeks peace, liberty and justice for the great people of Venezuela.

January 5, 2026 - Governor Tim Walz abandons his MN Gov re-election bid

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has announced he will no longer seek a third term.

Governor Walz released a statement Monday morning offering reasoning for his decision.

The statement is as follows:

“Good morning, and Happy New Year.

Like many Minnesotans, I was glad to turn the page on 2025. It was an extraordinarily difficult year for our state. And it ended on a particularly sour note.

For the last several years, an organized group of criminals have sought to take advantage of our state’s generosity. And even as we make progress in the fight against the fraudsters, we now see an organized group of political actors seeking to take advantage of the crisis.

I won’t mince words here. Donald Trump and his allies – in Washington, in St. Paul, and online – want to make our state a colder, meaner place. They want to poison our people against each other by attacking our neighbors. And, ultimately, they want to take away much of what makes Minnesota the best place in America to raise a family. They’ve already begun by taking our tax dollars that were meant to help families afford child care. And they have no intention of stopping there.

Make no mistake: We should be concerned about fraud in our state government. We cannot effectively deliver programs and services if we can’t earn the public’s trust. That’s why, over the past few years, we’ve made systemic changes to the way we do business.

We’ve gone to the legislature time and again to get more tools to combat fraud. We’ve fired people who weren’t doing their jobs. We’ve seen people go to jail for stealing from our state. We’ve cut off whole streams of funding, in partnership with the federal government, where we saw widespread criminal activity. We’ve put new locks on the doors of our remaining programs, and we’ve hired a new head of program integrity to make sure those locks can’t be broken.

All across the state, Minnesotans are hard at work on this problem. Advocates, administrators, investigators are on the front lines defending the integrity of our state’s programs, and I want to thank them for their efforts.

There’s more to do. A single taxpayer dollar wasted on fraud is a dollar too much to tolerate. And while there’s a role to play for everyone – from the legislature to prosecutors to insurance companies to local and county government – the buck stops with me. My administration is taking fast, decisive action to solve this crisis. And we will win the fight against the fraudsters.

But the political gamesmanship we’re seeing from Republicans is only making that fight harder to win.

We’ve got Republicans here in the legislature playing hide-and-seek with whistleblowers.

We’ve got conspiracy theorist right-wing YouTubers breaking into daycare centers and demanding access to our children.

We’ve got the President of the United States demonizing our Somali neighbors and wrongly confiscating childcare funding that Minnesotans rely on.

It is disgusting. And it is dangerous.

Republicans are playing politics with the future of our state. And it’s shameful. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: We welcome ideas from anyone, in any party, who wants to help us continue to stay ahead of the criminals.

And we welcome the involvement of the federal government. I’m grateful to the career professionals at the U.S. Attorney’s office and the FBI who are helping us win this fight.

But I cannot abide the actions of the political leadership in Washington – these opportunists who are willing to hurt our people to score a few cheap points. They and their allies have no intention of helping us solve the problem – and every intention of profiting off of it.

Which brings me to this: 2026 is an election year. And election years have a way of ramping up the politics at a time when we simply can’t afford more politics.

In September, I announced that I would run for a historic third term as Minnesota’s Governor. And I have every confidence that, if I gave it my all, I would succeed in that effort.

But as I reflected on this moment with my family and my team over the holidays, I came to the conclusion that I can’t give a political campaign my all. Every minute I spend defending my own political interests would be a minute I can’t spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who prey on our differences.

So I’ve decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work.

I know this news may come as a surprise. But I’m passing on the race with zero sadness and zero regret. After all, I didn’t run for this job so I could have this job. I ran for this job so I could do this job. Minnesota faces an enormous challenge this year. And I refuse to spend even one minute of 2026 doing anything other than rising to meet the moment. Minnesota has to come first – always.

That’s what I believe servant leadership demands of me. And as an optimist, I will hold out some hope that my friends on the other side of the aisle will consider what servant leadership demands of them in this moment. We can work together to combat the criminals, rebuild the public’s trust, and make our state stronger. But make no mistake: If Republicans continue down this path of abusing power, smearing entire communities, and running their own fraudulent game at the expense of Minnesotans – we will fight back every step of the way.

I’m confident that a DFLer will hold this seat come November. I’m confident that I will find ways to contribute to the state I love even after I’ve left office next January. But there will be time to worry about all that later.

Today, I’m proud of the work we’ve done to make Minnesota America’s best place to live and raise kids – from our new paid leave policy to our child tax credit to our free lunch program.

And I’m doubly proud of the incredible team we’ve put together to make that vision a reality. Thank you to every member of my staff, and every state employee, who’s part of this fight. We need you on the job to tackle the important work ahead.

Most of all, I want Minnesotans to know that I’m on the job, 24/7, focused on making sure we stay America’s best place to live and raise kids. No one will take that away from us. Not the fraudsters. And not the President. Not on my watch.”

January 5, 2026 - Pete Hegseth issues a formal Letter of Censure to Sen. Mark Kelly

Six weeks ago, Senator Mark Kelly — and five other members of Congress — released a reckless and seditious video that was clearly intended to undermine good order and military discipline. As a retired Navy Captain who is still receiving a military pension, Captain Kelly knows he is still accountable to military justice. And the Department of War — and the American people — expect justice.

Therefore, in response to Senator Mark Kelly’s seditious statements — and his pattern of reckless misconduct — the Department of War is taking administrative action against Captain Mark E. Kelly, USN (Ret). The department has initiated retirement grade determination proceedings under 10 U.S.C. § 1370(f), with reduction in his retired grade resulting in a corresponding reduction in retired pay.

To ensure this action, the Secretary of War has also issued a formal Letter of Censure, which outlines the totality of Captain (for now) Kelly’s reckless misconduct. This Censure is a necessary process step, and will be placed in Captain Kelly’s official and permanent military personnel file.

Captain Kelly has been provided notice of the basis for this action and has thirty days to submit a response. The retirement grade determination process directed by Secretary Hegseth will be completed within forty five days.

Captain Kelly’s status as a sitting United States Senator does not exempt him from accountability, and further violations could result in further action.

These actions are based on Captain Kelly’s public statements from June through December 2025 in which he characterized lawful military operations as illegal and counseled members of the Armed Forces to refuse lawful orders. This conduct was seditious in nature and violated Articles 133 and 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, to which Captain Kelly remains subject as a retired officer receiving pay.

The release of President Donald Trump’s new National Security Strategy last month sent shock waves through Washington, echoing far beyond the capital and rippling across global capitals where old assumptions linger like relics of another age.

For the first time in decades, the United States produced a strategic document that is not a polite, consensus-driven paper meant for diplomats in Brussels or business tycoons in Davos, but a declaration of national renewal — a reset of America’s compass after years of inaction, dependency, and ideological confusion.

Far more than a policy paper, the new NSS is a civilizational manifesto of the “America First” era. It marks a break with the tired orthodoxies that defined the post-Cold War consensus, restoring a clarity long missing from American statecraft: the purpose of national power is to defend the nation, enrich and safeguard its people, and conserve its way of life.

That principle, long treated as unfashionable by technocrats and left-liberal strategists, now stands proudly at the heart of U.S. policy. And if this new NSS does anything, it announces that America is done apologizing for wanting to survive — and win.

This is not only smart economics but a revival of the older logic of the Monroe Doctrine, updated for the 21st century.

The new NSS makes clear that the Trump administration views the Western Hemisphere as a geopolitical space that contains America’s manufacturing frontier, its energy buffer, and its natural counterweight to the Chinese Communist Party. Where Beijing seeks footholds through ports, pipelines, and party-to-party alliances with socialist governments, Washington now signals that the age of passivity and weakness disguised as tolerance is over.
